Miller Transfer and Edwards Transfer Announce Merger

Miller Transfer and Edwards Transfer have merged their business operations to offer a unified specialized transportation, packaging, and warehousing solution to the trucking market. Miller Transfer will assume the Edwards Transfer assets, personnel, and customer contracts. The merged businesses will operate under the Miller Transfer brand.

The two companies have a combined 150 years of experience in the trucking industry, with offerings of flatbed, heavy-haul, and over-dimensional transportation throughout the United States with service to Canada and Mexico. Additionally, packaging services and storage for domestic and international shipments awaiting distribution are available at the companies conveniently located warehouses.

“Merging the operations of the two companies under one roof offers an exciting opportunity for Miller Transfer to strengthen and expand our service offering in the specialized transportation industry,” explains Mitch Unger, President of Miller Transfer. “With a range of regional and national clients, the merger supports the Miller Transfer strategy to provide specialized solutions to our current and future customers.”

The merger will be seamless and current customers will experience no changes in the services they currently receive from Miller Transfer or Edwards Transfer. However, current Edwards Transfer customers will now have access to a broader range of heavy-haul and over-dimensional services.
